This place, as my friend said is a diamond in the rough. It's not a large restaurant, but this food is so good, no great.... it's awesome. The tacos, the queso, love it. You can eat in or take out. The service is awesome, too. Great people work here! If you are ever looking for great Mexican food, please go! The prices are very affordable!

Bravo!!!!! 5 star all the way! Super delish!!! All ready thinking about what I will order the next time. The Menudo was soooo tasty! Salsas were on point. You know it is good when you break a sweat but can't stop eating the salsa for the menudo. Had to try the Chile relleno... yummmmmmm. I drive far and wide for good Chile relleno so when i tell you this is yummy, it is the absolute truth. My hubby had the quesabirria. It was as delicious as it looks. Of course this will be a repeat as well. We ate till out hearts content but how could we leave without a little dessert? Not possible. Red velvet tres leches cake... it is fabulous!!!! Can't wait try the pistacho tres leches and the bread pudding. Maybe next time we will have start with dessert! Compliments to chef and staff for making our first experience an excellent one. Definitely worth the drive. I highly recommend this gem.

Oh my goodness, I have found the best Mexican food ever. I can eat here everyday. I have been twice in one week, and I want to go again today. The tacos are delicious. I had grilled chicken, shredded chicken, steak, and the vegan taco (mushroom & pineapple). All Mexican style. Which is cilantro & onions. If you want American style, that's tomatoes and lettuce. I don't care how you want it but you got to come here. If you haven't been you got to try it. You will come back constantly. The queso with chorizo is so awesome, seasoned to perfection. I need to try everything on the menu. I'll be back soon with another great review. You are going to see pictures of the first time I was there which I dined in. The second time I was there I took it out. The prices are great. You've got to support this chef, and his family. They are great people!

The mushroom al pastor tacos are by far the best taco I have ever had in my life. Vegan or not! I’m not the only one who thinks this. Everyone i take here falls in love with the food. The salsas are perfect! The employees are the sweetest. The owner is a gem and genuinely loves feeding people his food. This is my first and last stop every time i visit my hometown Chicago! 🤤
